For Sale: 1950 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery in Cornelius, North Carolina for sale in Cornelius, NC

1 of 20
Vehicle Description This is a very rare 1950 Sedan Delivery as only 23,045 were produced that year.
Sometimes referred to as a Panel Delivery, this model could be the first crossover vehicle as it was a hybrid between cars and trucks.
It was convenient as it could go on side roads and streets in the city and suburbs whereas the larger trucks could not because of zoning laws.
This model was very desirable to buyers as many owners used the panel area as a billboard to advertised their business.
You can do this too! This beautiful Chevy was restored just last year (2022).
It has been driven only 1,000 miles since the build that was done by a well-known California custom car builder.
It features a gorgeous Twilight Blue Metallic paint that is accented with ghost flames for a subtle custom look.
Hand painted pinstripes are highlighted on the rear as well as a cool-looking design on the rear exterior door.
The front wheel wells are custom arched.
The hood and the windshield are one piece.
The rear panels are custom hand-made aluminum panels.
Look inside and you will find one-off custom-made Galaxy leatherette bucket seats.
The color combination is beige with three brown accent stripes that run from the top of the seat to the seat bottom.
This is a very pretty look! The front door panels have the same three stripes and have small stainless rectangular pieces that create a very nice accent.
The rear doors are painted the same blue as the exterior and features two hand-painted accents.
The console has a convenient two cupholders and there is also plenty of room for your phone(s) and a few other items.
The dash is painted blue to match the exterior.
In the center of the dash is a custom design that is very similar to the hand painted detail on the rear exterior door.
All gauges appear new and have excellent and clear glass.
The foot pedals are by Billet Specialties.
The steering wheel is painted blue and beige to highlight the seats and dash.
The bed of this vehicle has gorgeous, glazed wood with stainless steel strips.
The engine is a 350 CID (small block) and is paired with a 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission; one of the best automatic transmissions built.
The 350 engine and trans are very reliable and both have been used in many street rods and custom cars.
Underneath is a 1974 Nova front clip and a Ford 9-inch rear.
The fuel cell and lines are new.
The drive shaft is new as well.
Options include power steering and power brakes for ease when cruising around town.
There is a custom stereo in a suitcase, not only for great sound but it also makes a fun conversation piece! The owner has all receipts and there are videos available.
