Vehicle Description The Oldsmobile Toronado had a distinctive styling change from the first generation Toronados.
The former GT design was turned into a luxury car more similar to the Cadillac Eldorado and the Buick Rivera.
This new look attracted so many new buyers that sales increased quite a bit.
The Toronado now sported an elegant look with lots of spirit.
Upscale styling and powerful performance now went hand in hand.
In 1972, due to Federally mandated and more strict emission controls, the 455 CID engine was now dropped to a 250 HP.
But that does not hurt the car performance wise.
This 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham is quite a collector car.
It is an outstanding HPOF (Historical Preservation Original Features) Award Winner.
You will not find many authentic, unmolested, original classic cars such as this.
This Olds has only 50,000 original miles.
Exterior is Sierra Gold with a white vinyl top.
The paint, the vinyl top, and the chrome and trim are all in excellent condition.
