Vehicle Description From 1946 to 1947, Chrysler made minor design upgrades.
The 1948 models were not that different from the prior two years.
For 1948, larger and lower pressure tires were added and that resulted in a change in the rear fender design.
Standard were the Safe-Guard hydraulic brakes and the Oilite fuel tank filter.
Continued was the rust-proof process to protect the interior body structure.
The New Yorker was the high-line model and was offered with the same equipment as the Saratoga.
