Vehicle Description The Roadrunner was not like many sports cars of its day as it was built for some serious street driving.
It was one of the favorite cars of moonshiners and it could outrun most police cars.
It was built tough which is why so many survived as compared to other muscle cars of its day.
Plymouth built a budget priced muscle car with loads of power but it was also lightweight in spite of a strong engine.
Another fun history tidbit is that the Roadrunner name was based on the cartoon.
This 1968 Roadrunner stands tall and proud and is fully restored with only 4,000 miles since the restoration.
The exterior is Sable White and the paint, chrome and trim are all in excellent condition.
The black bench seat interior is in top condition and shows no visible flaws.
The dash features the factory radio and built in tachometer.
Engine is the 383/335 HP paired with the 4-speed manual transmission and floor shifter.
Both engine and transmission are matching numbers as well as the rear end.
Custom upgrades include the Tru Track serpentine system (supports power steering and AC system), Flex-a-Lite cooling fans with heavy duty Howe aluminum radiator, ceramic coated Hooker Headers, professional ladder bars, hidden custom stereo, and custom Crager S/S 10 inch deep dish rims:
10 inch in the rear and 8 inch in the front.
Car is stored in temperature control and has been well maintained.
This Roadrunner runs and drives with excellent performance and is a ride that all gear heads will love! Location of car is in Ohio and it is available to view by appointment only.
