Job Description This person will be responsible for the coordination and management of all aspects of construction projects to ensure that the work meets or exceeds our clients exacting quality standards.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities include:
Being the face of Omnia Construction Group on site for our clients and trade partners Interpreting plans and specifications Executing the delivery of a finished product in accordance with the project plans and documents Project scope development, scheduling and vendor coordination Effectively managing subcontractors and trade partners on site Maintaining organized and clean job sites Cultivating positive working relationships with homeowners, designers, vendors and trade contractors Managing daily project operations, keeping costs within budget, assisting with bid packages and estimating Working with the company Staff and Owner to properly document all construction transactions including scheduling, purchasing, correspondence, estimating, workflow, and subcontracts The ideal candidate will have:
Stable work history with a minimum 4 years experience in residential construction project management Skills in the use of tablets/smartphones/laptops (aka tech-savvy) Experience using Co-Construct or similar construction software and be competent in standard office programs including email, MSWord and Excel Estimating experience and knowledge of general construction management processes and procedures Desire to learn and grow in the residential construction industry Experience supervising subcontractors, ordering materials, and maintaining job schedules Professional appearance, demeanor and excellent written and oral communication skills, must be non-smoker Working knowledge of residential construction practices and be able to read blueprints Valid NC drivers license Ability to pass background check and drug test Physical requirements - ability to lift 25lbs.
